Jump Start Program

The Jump Start Program allows students to enter college prior to high school graduation. The student has an early start in college leading to an Associate Degree.

Selected Senior North Coast Tech Prep students:

* Enroll in one college level course at a Campus of Cuyahoga Community College during spring semester of the senior year.
* Earn college credit for the course successfully completed at no cost to the student.

Criteria for selection:

* Senior Tech Prep student
* Be recommended by the Tech Prep Teacher
* Complete a Jump Start application and submit a high school transcript and/or current high school schedule
* 2.0 overall GPA (grades 9-11)
* 3.0 GPA in Tech Prep Program
* Passed Algebra 2 or currently enrolled and passing Algebra 2
* Agree to attend mandatory meetings at CCC related to Orientation, Student Success and the Jump Start Program.
