Health Career Exploration

The purpose of the Health Career Exploration program is to introduce the student to a wide variety of health career options. The broad spectrums of health career opportunities all have unique qualifications, responsibilities, and job opportunities. The populations that utilize the multiple health career services may have made poor lifestyle choices that contributed to their current condition. People inflicted with a medical condition often look for resources that provide accurate information about specific conditions.

Your assignment is to explore the Health Careers and Nursing Program Directory and identify two careers of interest and list the qualifications, responsibilities, and job opportunities for both disciplines. You may use the following site for more resources: http://www.tri-c.edu/programs/nursing/Pages/default.aspx. The next step is to identify a medical condition associated with one of the careers you selected and identify the resource you used for information about the condition. The final step is to write a summary of the medical condition and how this condition could be avoided with lifestyle changes.
