Jump Start Program
Program
allowing students to enter college prior to high school graduation.
The student has an early start in college leading to an Associate
Degree.
Selected Senior North Coast Tech Prep students:
- Enroll
in one college level course at a Campus of Cuyahoga
Community College during spring semester of the senior year.
- Earn
college credit for the course successfully completed at no cost
to the student.
Criteria
for selection:
- Senior
Tech Prep student
- Be
recommended by the Tech Prep Teacher
- Complete
a Jump Start application
- 2.0
overall GPA (grades 9-11)
- Agree
to take an English Placement test to determine eligibility for
the Jump Start Program and place into English 1010.
- Agree
to attend mandatory meetings at CCC related to Orientation, Student
Success and the Jump Start Program.
