Tech Prep students:
- Test
into college level math – avoid remedial math classes when
enrolling in college.
- Earn
college math credit while taking Algebra 2 in high school at no
cost to the student.
High
School Math teachers:
- Learn
to use web-based Academic Systems Algebra to help Tech Prep students
succeed in Algebra 2.
- Align
high school Algebra 1 and 2 curricula with college mathematics
curriculum in cooperation with college math faculty.
North
Coast Tech Prep/Cuyahoga Community College:
- Facilitate
Academic Systems Algebra access and training for high school math
teachers.
- Schedule
meetings during the school year to bring high school and college
mathematics faculty together for updates and problem-solving sessions.
